Essex Life in Archive Film is a video streaming resource for the East of England using archive film from the East Anglian Film Archive and new video material produced by Essex schools.

The archive film spans 1914 to 1953 and depicts The Colchester Oyster Fishery in 1914, Boxted Farming 1925, Alan Cobham's Flying Circus in 1932, The West Essex Gazette in 1952 and The Canvey Island Floods of 1953.

During 2003-5 students and teachers from five Essex schools used digital video to make a record of similar features of Essex life in the early 21st century.
