Colour project

This group of work was developed over a six week period. It involved exploring in depth how tone and colour can be used to represent form.
In the process the pupils explored a range of materials and learned how to use primary, secondary, tertiary and complementary colours for specific effects. This pupil has selected and used objects and resources effectively. They have manipulated materials to communicate ideas and produced work with visual and tactile qualities that match their intentions. They analysed their work and demonstrated understanding by using appropriate art vocabulary. (E.g. writing about tertiary colours and colour with tone.) They are beginning to consider the effectiveness of their work and can modify it suit the purpose.
